Who can apply as a Rise AV Mentee?

This exclusive programme is crafted for ambitious women based in the UK and APAC who want to propel their careers to new heights within the dynamic landscape of the AV, live, and production technology markets. This programme is open to:

• In the early stages of their AV career, typically up to six years of experience
• We also welcome women with more extensive industry experience who need to build their confidence and finesse their skills. We are never too old to learn.
• Passionate about advancing their career in the AV.
• Working in any role within the industry, including engineering, project management, sales, marketing, HR, consulting, events, manufacturing, distribution, and more.

Commitment to the Programme

Participation in the Rise AV Mentoring Programme requires full engagement and attendance at both in-person and online sessions. Participants who repeatedly miss sessions without a valid reason jeopardise their place on the programme.

Become a Rise AV Mentor

Rise AV Mentors are exceptional professionals of all genders, bringing extensive experience across the AV, live, and production technology industries. They are strong leaders, passionate advocates for diversity, and dedicated to shaping the next generation of talent.

Who Can Become a Mentor?

To qualify, you must:

• Have substantial industry experience and expertise in your field.
• Be committed to dedicating time, knowledge, and support to your mentee throughout this immersive six-month programme.
• Commit to at least two hours of mentoring per month
• Be based in the UK or APAC, as you will be expected to participate in up to three in-person events per year

The Rise AV Mentoring Programme is a meaningful, structured initiative, and its success relies on the dedication of mentors. Participants should apply only if they can fully commit to the above terms.

This ensures that mentoring relationships are productive and meaningful. Those unable to dedicate the required time are encouraged to wait until they can fully commit.

Timescales and Agenda

Applications are now open to become a Mentee or Mentor and will close on 31 January.

If your application is successful, you will hear from Rise AV by March. The programme will start in May and run until October 2025.

The six-month agenda will be available soon, with key dates for your diary.
