QSC is proud to announce its role as a Global Sponsor of Rise AV, a pioneering organisation dedicated to advancing gender diversity and professional development across the audiovisual (AV) sector. This partnership underscores a commitment by QSC to create an inclusive industry where innovation thrives through diverse perspectives.

Rise AV, an extension of the award-winning Rise Women in Broadcast initiative, is tackling key challenges in the AV industry: a growing skills shortage and a lack of equal opportunities for women. Through programs like the Mentoring Programme and the Elevate Leadership Accelerator, Rise AV empowers women and underrepresented talent to break barriers and build leadership pipelines for the future. With over 3,000 members worldwide, Rise has supported many women, advocates and companies in technical, engineering, operations, marketing, sales and executive roles through its programmes.

> “At QSC, we believe technology is most powerful when it brings people together and reflects the diversity of the communities we serve,” said Rob Sherry, Regional Director, Northern & Eastern Europe, QSC. “Partnering with Rise AV allows us to champion inclusion and professional development to create opportunities that inspire connect, collaborate, and innovate across the AV industry.”
>
> "The AV industry is facing a critical skills shortage, a lack of gender diversity, and barriers to career progression—threatening its future growth. Rise AV is tackling these challenges head-on with initiatives that upskill professionals, support leadership development, and create a more inclusive, innovative workforce,” said Rachael Hamilton, Managing Director of Rise AV. “For businesses, investing in diversity and professional development isn’t just the right thing to do—it’s a strategic advantage.
>
> Supporting Rise AV helps companies attract and retain top talent while addressing one of the industry's biggest challenges: securing the next generation of leaders. This programme plays a crucial role in bridging the skills gap, ensuring the industry has the expertise needed to thrive in the future. By preparing women for leadership roles and succession planning, we create a more sustainable and dynamic workforce. But we can’t do it alone and support in the form of sponsors are vital in shaping a stronger future for AV.”

As a Global Sponsor, QSC will support Rise AV initiatives that deliver mentorship and leadership development by connecting emerging talent with experienced industry leaders, provide education and training to equip professionals with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving AV landscape, and create networking opportunities that foster collaboration and growth. Rise AV is already looking to the next chapter in its growth with its launch in APAC, an initiative that QSC is delighted to be contributing to.

This collaboration aligns with the QSC mission to empower people to create impactful connections and memorable experiences through technology. By investing in diversity and inclusion, QSC is helping to ensure the AV industry attracts and retains the talent needed to drive innovation for years to come.
